These are the latest child welfare items that should be right on your radar:
- Landmark family court judgment confirms anyone can use the title ‘psychologist’
- 40% rise in number of social workers quitting children’s posts annually over past five years
- Legal age of marriage in England and Wales rises to 18

“In this regard, the identification of ‘alienating behaviour’ should be the court’s focus, rather than any quest to determine whether the label ‘parental alienation’ can be applied.”
Hopefully Courts will now accept that poisoning the mind of a child against a good parent is child abuse and do something to protect children rather than simply kick it down the road. At present Family Courts and Children Services are unfit for purpose so need to change, dramatically.
See https://lynnsteinberg.com/resources/mexico-parent-alienation-law for best practice that England and Wales need to adopt as a matter of urgency.
