Bradford council’s child protection services have been deemed inadequate overall by Ofsted, whose catalogue of failures included failing to get parental consent and subjecting children to unnecessary investigations. The government’s child services regulator said the council’s poor practices were placing children at risk of significant harm.
The rating comes after a string of serious failures by the council, which saw its social workers routinely neglect to get parental consent when it was required, leading to a significant number of children being subjected to unnecessary and excessive interventions in cases where there were no overriding child protection concerns.
The report confirms that children were being inappropriately interviewed by partner agencies, sometimes without getting parental consent first. The report also found that Bradford council failed to identify children genuinely in need of help.
As well as poor practice, Ofsted’s report outlines problems with high social worker turnover, a lack of foster carers and failures to fully train social work staff. Poor evidence gathering, and the varying quality of evidence for cases going to court were also listed as issues.
There is significant information detailed in the report on the cash injection Bradford council received to address perceived increases in demand for its services and a drop in social worker numbers at the local authority. The report notes that the council used that cash boost to prioritise the employment of more staff, as well as “strengthening the structure of the service”. It’s not clear from the report exactly what strengthening the council’s child protection service structure involved, though it may refer to the council’s development of decision making panels and quality assurance checks.
The report identifies some positive work within the council, too. The inspector for Ofsted, Neil Penswick, found that Bradford Council’s response to children at risk of child sexual exploitation was strong, and the team working with these children was thorough and organised.

don’t all councils fail to get parental consent? my eldest was interviewed in school without our consent. they had a stand-in teacher standing in on the interview but he had to leave the room because he felt sick at what was being said to my daughter, they were pouring their poison all over an innocent child’s mind. my eldest who was 7 at that time is still traumatised and probably will be for the rest of her life.
then they fail to get parental consent when vaccinating their kidnap victims (newborns). they just turn up at contact and tell you that your newborn will be drowsy and non-responsive because of the vaccines.
they fail to get parents consent to remove children (kidnap), and use forged court orders and “only following orders” police. all very serious crimes which staffordshire police investigated and were told to “back off or lose your jobs and pensions” when they attempted to go after the established criminals.
“inadequate” can be applied to the child protection system right across the country. we all know all about their failings and how they put children at risk of serious harm, but because of the words “child protection” the people believe they’re doing good when kidnapping and abusing children.
“the state must declare the child to be the most precious treasure of the people. as long as government is perceived as working for the benefit of the children, the people will happily endure almost any curtailment of liberty and almost any deprivation.”

Yes I will Natsha , family courts to fostering companies , its totally lawless. I was looking at the house of lords, declaration of interest. Lord Farmer ,Capstone foster care ltd. It doesn’t shock me anymore , business means someone’s child or children. Bradford has really brought to light what I’ve always suspected, but its UK wide. True Justice for many just doesn’t exist that’s my summing up of it all. If company house laws were tightened up with directorships or company officers, ie ID supplied passports etc for one before a company can be listed fraudsters would dwindle out of the child trade

Overstretched services that include those of the police as well as those of the legal and social systems does not bode well for anyone searching for justice and all that that means to families caught up in the pernicious web of current deception that appears to be endemic in certain communities.
What is becoming more evident, is that too much power has been given to people with insufficient experience or integrity, and great suffering has resulted. Most importantly, the greatest harm has been done, and continues to be done to the most vulnerable, and those least able to defend themselves.
Society as a whole must change – but I think this is a fact much recited with little effect because power rests with those who have no desire to effect change – and certainly not in the status quo, it would not serve their interests.
No, while ordinary people are prepared to accept, with reasonable docility, what happens to them, the law makers – the politicians, and the law enforcers – the police and legal profession, will continue to keep Mr and Mrs Everyman in line and suitably fed with only the information they consider suitable and on a basis of ‘what the eye doesn’t see the heart won’t grieve over’.
For those prepared to cause ripples, there is always the claim that they are mentally unstable or have criminal intentions. in too many cases, such ‘troublemakers’ can be locked up and the key thrown away.

Never write to them,never sign anything they give you ,,never go to their meetings (You will be outnumbered by at least five or six to one and bullied accordingly), They are your ENEMIES !!They earn their living taking children so tell your children never to answer their questions but to say” mummy (or daddy) says we must not talk to you unless mummy is there too “.Never obey them, you must never do what your enemies tell you to do ! (seems obvious but few parents realise this )Fight every step of the way and refuse every demand they make of you !Think of the “SS” as SPIDERS with a nasty web! If you enter the web at the edge (speaking to them ,discussing your case, and going to meetings) you will eventually be sucked into the middle (the family court system) and swallowed up ;(your child fostered or adopted).Refuse to go near their web (speaking to them etc) and you stand a good chance of surviving.

Joseph I found social workers ordering the Police. Social workers even have their own office’s inside Police stations. Guilford and Sutton being just two of them.

and i though their job was to scout out children from vulnerable adults who need a referral to get some support, kidnap their children, collect their finders fee from private foster/adoption agencies, and make shit up and commit perjury in constitutionally illegal courts for the amusement of bent judges and their law society lackeys.

Many social workers are supplied to local authorities coming from large fostering adoption companies. Contracting its called multi agency so the victims who have false reports made against them is now the norm. Fostering companies ltd need as many children they can get. Its so obvious, I wasn’t born born yesterday to realize what’s really going on. House of lords members some lords and lady so and so have a financial interest in fostering adoption ltd companies. That’s how bad the situation is for parents who have either lost or about to lose their children to lies being made by the professionals in the business market. Come solicitors, social workers and colluding heads of children’s services

How its all going to sorted out I just don’t know, it has to start somewhere probably with the actions of the Police. I believe police should not be so close to social services and independent of local government councils. That would be a starting point to get some balance of law and order over criminals that use children’s services either for revenge against a family or simply to fun a high life style. Companies house has to change. Everyone should be made to supply id before they can become a company officer. This change would cut out the criminal workings of foster and adoption agencies who set up companies full of fraud and corruption.

Has anyone encountered SS information in paperwork that was later shown to be false but when challenged via the complaints dept the SS simply removed the information from their system then claim they know nothing about it ?

False allegation yes I know of a family, children taken children returned court case collapsed. Family member complained but to by this council told registering a complaint is to late to make.

No book I could but investigated deep into social services organization of many. On a very big case at moment. I have exposed fraud corruption but police seem reluctant, problem is the works of solicitors in their legal department. Anything that’s becomes a threat to them it either straight to the high court to get a gagging order using the abundance of tax payers money or threats against other members of a family. They even use bogus solicitors in family courts that’s what goes on.

The situation has now got so bad trying to stop their children from being taken away by the authorities, I tried but it now beats all my efforts. Corruption in every form wins. That’s UK today 2018 . But I will expose all my efforts against the fraudsters involved in stealing children before I go sometime in 2019.
