Parents who have experienced child protection proceedings inside the family courts have reacted angrily after an investigation revealed a huge spike in profits within the foster care sector. The findings come just as new research confirms that forced adoption of newborns has more than doubled, with no clear indication as to why so many babies are being removed from their parents.
According to The Sun, the foster care industry, which is valued at £1.7billion, has seen a sharp rise in foster care companies backed by large private equity funds sweeping up taxpayers’ cash. The report also mentions the latest stats on children taken into care, which show a 34% rise in the number of removals, to more than 10,000 children being placed in care, a record number for one single year.
The article in The Sun features families who have gone through child protection proceedings and who are outraged by the findings. Some families fled abroad to avoid losing their children, and others lost their children to the care sector. The investigation also reveals details of the holding companies making enormous profits from the fostering industry, and the individuals connected to them.
Large scale profiteering by companies inside the fostering sector was documented by The Independent in 2013. This was an important story at the time because it highlighted the vast profits being made from failing children’s homes, raising serious concerns about the way in which these homes were being run, and what their ultimate purpose was. In 2016, The Guardian also wrote a piece on the financial infrastructure of the foster care sector, again questioning the motives of the companies involved. And in 2017, an expose by ITV, confirmed the worst: children were being badly neglected by care homes, while managers pocketed most of the cash.
The Education Committee’s scathing report in December 2017, on fostering in the UK, also came to a grim conclusion: an alarming number of foster placements were being made for financial reasons rather than the best interests of children in care. In short, it was all about the money.
And it is families who are experiencing the impact of corporate culture inside the child protection system first-hand.
One mum told The Sun:
“It’s totally outrageous. This is a billion-pound industry that these businessmen are making millions from. It’s disgusting. How can this be allowed to happen? I lost my two boys and social services can say parents don’t have enough money to look after their children but then pay out thousands and thousands to look after children.”
Another mum detailed her experience of the sector:
“It’s completely wrong – people wouldn’t believe this is how the system works until they have dealt with social services. It’s been horrendous for me and nobody can imagine the pain you go through as a mother.”

Yes AT £3000-£4000 per child per week we pay for each child in care in a “special school” more than 3 times what it cost to send Prince Harry to Eton !
The difference of course is that Eton has expensive and well equipped buildings, acres of well kept grounds and the very best teachers.
The special schools favoured by the “SS” on the contrary usually offer a delapidated terraced house with paint flaking off the front ,no grounds or gardens, and persons in charge who are rarely qualified teachers!

And Sir Martin Narey was head of Barnardos on 150,000 a year in 2008, when they diversified into adoption and then he retired and became adoption Tsar. And who as they were supposed to, was looking after the thousands of teenagers raped and groomed for 2 decades throughout the UK ????????????????

The interagency fee is a nationally agreed mechanism for covering the costs incurred in the preparation, approval and matching of prospective adopters, and the support provided during the first 12 months of a placement. It is currently set at £27,000 for the placement of a single child, with additional rates for the placement ..

A school in Shropshire run by Cambian for looked-after children attending its homes – recently rated by Ofsted as “good” – is also reported to be in chaos. One pupil repeatedly escapes on to a roof, and a member of staff admits on camera that “it’s awful. I don’t know why they even call it a school. They don’t do anything.”
Another employee says: “I don’t think they’re learning anything here.”
At the end of March this year, there were more than 8,000 children living in residential homes. Children are not placed in institutions except as a last resort, so it is likely that, for the majority of children in residential care, multiple foster placements will already have broken down as a result of their early childhood experiences of neglect and abuse.

These young people often have complex needs and may require urgent therapeutic support. However, child psychologist Professor Tanya Bryon, commenting on one episode where a care worker publicly shames a 13-year-old boy in a restaurant, questions the training and expertise shown, describing it as “an example of everything you shouldn’t do when working with vulnerable children”.

Residential care does not come cheap. The filmmakers confirmed with Cambian Group that one home that employed their undercover reporter charges £4,800 a week. A Keys home that features in the film charged a council £5,100 a week. Meanwhile, care staff are told to keep to tight budgets: one worker quoted £5 a day per child for food. At a Cambian home, the budget per child was said to be £45 for activities, with £50 for meals. The two reporters employed by Keys and Cambian were paid £7.20 per hour and £16,500 a year respectively.

As millions are being made from tearing families apart and destroying lives nothing is being done except more greed and ease of removal of very lucrative commodities by courts LA outsourcers. Its our money, our children, our courts, our law we finance it all and private profits.

you’d think there’d be greedy law society lackeys lining up to sue the child traffickers on behalf of the parents and children. surely they’d make more money from trying to right the wrongs? oh yes, the baby snatching paedophiles in westmonster stopped the legal aid, and probably threatened them with their jobs.
life is short and if you only get one shot at life, and life is a continuation of your family, you pass traits and knowledge on to your children and your children pass a little bit of you and themselves onto their children, and life goes on generation after generation, everlasting life.
to steal someone’s children wipes out that family and all the family before them, it also steals the whole point of this short life. why isn’t there any remedy in law to punish these people? perhaps where it hurts, such as suing them for all the money they made from destroying the family, and then some more, and life in prison (although they’d probably protest on the grounds of wanting their human right to a family life).
they’d soon stop stealing children if there were serious ramifications to their crimes against humanity.

ABIGAIL ,I learn’t at law school that judges should interpret the law the way that those who drafted the law intended . Article 8 the right to a private life was clearly intended to defend families against child snatching by the State.
Unfortunately corrupt and dishonest judges use it instead to attack the very families that law was mean’t to protect by pretending that a new born baby needs privacy so nobody must speak publicly in case baby’s privacy is breached .
Ridiculous? But as Charles Dickens wrote in Oliver Twist ……..
THE LAW IS AN ASS ……!

ANONYMOUS tip offs are often used by the “SS” to break up happy families and so enrich the rapacious fostering and adoption industries ;
DAIL MAIL printed this case …………
Social workers broke up a family on the basis of a text message sent by a boy of 12.
The child was said to have told a friend his mother threatened him with a knife and as a result two of his siblings were taken into care.
Social workers asked for a judge’s approval to take away all four of the married couple’s children.
But in a Family Court hearing they were unable to produce a copy of the text message, which came from an anonymous tip-off.
The officials had also waited until they were ‘at the door of the court’ before backing down over claims that the parents had harmed their children.
Judge Keith Wilding dismissed a series of further allegations and blocked a plan for the children to be fostered or adopted.

Who would not have a heavy heart after reading this post? Just when you think you’ve been made aware of the depth of social and human depravity here in UK, the chasm opens further and you plunge still deeper.
There is much that remains unexposed, but gradually, victims are finding their voices, and through posts such as this, we will ensure they are heard – especially if those that read them pass them on to friends on the internet – so let’s keep networking.

but just like the banking scandal of 2008 the profiteering perpetrators will very likely walk way Scot free with not such much as a smack in the wrist.

UK HAS THE MOST BROKEN SYSTEM IN THE FREE WORLD SS ARE NKT FOR FAMILY AND CHILDREN THE POLICE ILLEGALLY KIDNAPPED OUR KIDS WE WERE BLACKMAILED INTO SIGNING RHE SECTION 20 NOT UNDERSTANDING IT. WE WERE TOLD IF WE DID NOT AND THEY GOT A COURT ORDER THE KIDS WOULD GO UP FOR IMMEDIAT FORCED ADOPTION. I WAS TOLD IF I DIDNT THEY’D GET ME DEPORTED BACK TO AMERICA WITHOUT MY KIDS. I TRIED TAKING PICTURES OF MY DAUGHTERS BRUSES. I WAS TOLD IF I DID ID LOSE VISITS. I WAS TOLD ON ITHER OCCASIONS ID BE ARESTED AND MY PHONE CONFISCATED. THEN ID BE DEPORTED. I tried making a police report with Northumberland Police they said they couldn’t because my kids are in Foster to take it uo with my solicitor or ss. They knew and did nothing. The Judge knew and I have proof of this and she did nothing. I want Justice and I want my American kids back. They had no legal jurisdiction. We are not residents we were here on temporary visitation. Fact is there so called thresh hold was based on a illegal faults report tgat was throw out of court in US because it had 0 finding and was proven that my mental ill family member did it out if spite. We were victims and now wbat tbey are doing is 1000x worse. And illegal. I want my children who by the way are under Legal Fiction under commonlaw. I want it recognised. We need to Force Common Law as A Recognised Law here in UK. It exist but is not yet been inforced or recognised like it is in USA. We need to stand up for the people against these unjust corrupt corporate giants that are clearly destroying children and famies for profit. Its absolutely disgusting and need to be punishable. Tbese SS and Private courts have too much power and our voice and truth are not being heard. We are not given a fair trile. Its not being video recorded or voice recorded. The things they are allowed to say do and get away with is Terrifying. It is Teroney and Treason of the human and children rights acts.
