Members of Parliament will hold a debate in the House of Commons on children’s social care next week. The topic was selected by the Backbench Business Committee, and the discussion on the day will be opened by Tim Loughton, MP.
Westminster Hall debates usually feature a motion, and take place in the Grand Committee Room. The events are free and open to the general public to watch, with entrance worked out on a first come, first served basis.
The motion for this debate hasn’t been made public yet, with Parliament’s website only offering the detail that this is going to be a ‘general’ debate on social care. Such a wide scope could make the conversation superficial at best given the limited amount of time that MPs will have to talk over issues, however the Committee should offer more information closer to the event.
The debate is scheduled to take place on Tuesday 9th October. We’ll update you with more details as soon as they’re available.

I’ve noticed that all social workers haven’t aware or learn about Deaf, CODA and their cultures. I’m fed up that Deaf people keep getting discrimination against by Social workers as they seems think it’s ok to tell lies and fabrications the false information against Deaf parents like myself.

I don’t think it’s fair to say social workers discriminate by telling lies and fabrications against deaf parents………
They tell lies and fabricate evidence against ALL parents whether deaf or not !!

As one who often works closely with social workers in Children social care, I am consistently appalled by social workers complete flagrancy of STATUTORY DUTIES owed to children in accordance with Children Act 1989, Children and Social Work Act 2017 and other legislation. A favourite failure is in the ending of their DUTY to s20 children as they approach their 18th birthday by failing to support and address their accommodation needs as per the PATHWAY PLAN. In effect, MANY social workers make teenagers homeless. In all fairness, this is often due to Team Leaders and senior management who are MORE CONCERNED WITH THEIR BUDGETS, THAN PROVIDING THE APPROPRIATE STAUTORY DUTY and support to the young person and or their family.
For my part I will continue to advise and support young people to legally challenge and hold these social service/ local authorities to account! LOCAL AUTHORITIES ARE FAILING TOO MANY VULNERABLE CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES AND MUST BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE!

A section 20 is being used for twin tracking newborns and children 5 or under THIS IS ILLEGAL as a section 20 is report care/respite and not to issue proceedings for adoption. There claiming for services that is not being given in alot of case’s and appointing solicitors ahead of parent’s. There is no meetings or assessments and again illegal to call your self a social worker if you are not qualified or not reconised by the registration under 2000/2005/2014 ACTs . Solicitors also this goes for if not reconised by BCB the CA19IO is incompatible as leaving other statutory instruments and regulations out. This is why the “charity commissioner ” had tried addressing it in a decreet way. STATUTORY Instruments overrides “subsidiary legislation” this is causing lasting damage on children/young person’s and parents.

The family courts like any justice system should presume innocence until proved guilty.Babies and young children should not be taken from parents because of presumed non accidental injury .
Only if a parent has been convicted of or been charged with causing significant harm to a child should a child be moved into care and in the latter case if a court finds the parent not guilty or charges are dropped altogether then the child should be returned to its parent(s) at once.
Risk of future emotional harm should never be reason to remove a child and forced adoption (adoption made despite opposition from parent(s) in court )should be abolished
