The collective ‘we’ masks corporate blame and suggests mutual responsibility, but though the people of a country may be asked to fight for, or pay the cost of any war – they have no actual choice. That ‘privilege’ is only given to those at the top, and they rarely pay the price.The people are forced into war and people pay the cost, then people pick up the price tag – suffering humanity.
