Following on from our post on Wednesday about the Channel 5 news feature looking at unjust removals of children from disabled mothers by social services, we’re sharing the full length interview with mother Jean Eveleigh and her child Tye, who is now an adult.
The segment was produced with the help of Legal Action for Women and the Disabled Mothers’ Rights Campaign.
The entire interview is worth watching, and there are several very powerful moments during the segment. We were left heartbroken by many of the memories they shared, including Jean’s routine of calling up social services every time a terror attack took place in the UK, to find out if her daughter had been in the vicinity at the time of the event.
You can watch the full interview here.
Of course what’s astonishing is Julie Morgan Labour MP Deputy Minister Wales has given her apologetic 26th Jan speech on “historic” Forced Adoptions (1949 – 76) but never a mention of current Forced Adoptions under both Labour and Tories .. The issue so far is still being whitewashed and the past is being used against the present meaning the implications are there’s no “forced adoptions now” ….. Media hypnotism on the public is underway …
This media and political PR exercise (also denying Adoptees a way in to show how child abused some of us are) is slick enough to grease up the media in the main and keep Adoption going …. Clearly Parties have friends in high media places ..
As Adoptees, we have seen Child Abuses inside UK Adoptions un-investigated and the Scottish CSA Inquiry is doing the same .. We have an erased voice as usual. The precious “Church Of Adoption” still maintains it’s worshipful rule across misery …

No doubt the apology to the current victims of forced adoptions – disabled mothers, survivors of domestic violence and their children, will be given in a few decades once the damage is done. Taking children from parents who have been in care is also providing this sickening ‘industry’ with exponential growth.

Two very brave and beautiful people who should never have suffered so much. I hope the adoptive ‘parents’ were watching.

A very sad story and very well told !
It all goes to show that forced adoption is wicked and wrong !
Adoption that is opposed by parent(s) should never never take place .
This mother made the unfortunate mistake of believing that she had to cooperate with social services otherwise they would take her child ;Alas the opposite was the case and always is;
Cooperate with your enemies and you lose the war.Cooperation results in gradually giving them all the information they need to take you to court and persuade the judge to let them arrange fostering or worse still adoption of your precious child !
I advise all parents (especially mums) that social workers have no authority whatever .Only police and judges (in court) can give you orders.
NEVER,NEVER obey a social worker ! Never go to their meetings ,Never let them in your house or flat unless police are present as witnesses,Never never be rude to them ,just say politely that you are very sorry but you have been advised NEVER to talk to them until all POSSIBLE court proceedings are over, otherwise you would love to have a chat ! Tell your children to say that they cannot answer questions from strangers unless their mum is present ! These tactics have won countless cases over the years where cases have been dropped for lack of evidence
i realise that this is not the usual advice given by professionals”who will tell you not to continue a hopeless fight and that is why only one in 400 care orders are refused (judicial statistics)
ABOLISH FORCED ADOPTION !!

Caveating this advice to say this is the poster’s own suggestion and not RR’s own views.

Thank you Natasha for printing them all the same ! It is the sign of a great site owner to tolerate publication of views to which you are totally opposed !

Hi Ian, not so much about opposing views in this case but ensuring advice is ethical and appropriate in context. But thank you.

Thank God they are reunited. I have just been reunited with my daughter from her being taken from me when she was 11 years old. I have disabilities so does my daughter so it was so unjust and underhand. I now campaign for children and families affected by social services corruption
