“Family Justice Council Experts Committee Symposium: videos”
the first video is nothing but 13 mins of waffle from williams and Mcfarlane that only supports more So-called experts coming into the family courts. most of them couldnt tell the difference between lemons and limes. the real truth is that child protection should not be handled by the family courts and possibly not any of the courts. Obviously councils are the worst and should not be handling these issues. something new needs to be created as the family courts are doing more harm than good for parents and the children that are removed.

Hi my son his a care leaver. He’s back home with me now.not on any supported accommodation. He’s wishes were to be back home with me.but whilst in care my son had no choice on a college. This was chosen by the foster carer because it was near there home.well the college was not supporting my son at all bear in mind he has complex learning disabilities and health issues. Felt like the college were discriminating him.no way was my son attending that college so my choice to find my son a college that excepts students with learning disabilities. He now attends this new college. He his respected and gets the help that my son needs.but what you don’t know is when joining this college they didn’t have any idea were were my son was upto.me and the college were constantly on to the local authority for and updated EHCP and send.still not received one till this day.still waiting. Also I got onto my local mp for help about this.and to get transport for my son to attend this college. Well the local authority was wrong to do this so I took on the fight myself. It took me his mum to fight for 6months for his transport. I eventually got him transport. It comes under child and student act of 1989.these with Learning disabilities and health issues are allowed to have free transport from the local council .which he now does.by taxi not public transport. I had to fight for all off this for my son also I’m disabled myself. So basically your not helping young adults that return home. But throwing money at young adults to live independently. This is unfair. All extra stress. now my son as a personal adviser. So hopefully we will be moving forward to get my son employment.

I’m really glad to hear your son is back home, but I’m very sorry about everything he has had to endure and for all the battles you’ve had to fight. It sounds like you’ve both done amazingly in spite of all the prejudice and the poor support you experienced.

Yes social workers just love depriving children of their liberty.
When first taken into “care” their phones and laptops are confiscated and they cannot go out on their own.
They are forbidden to get in touch with their parents and friends and if those parents do get a visit at a dismal contact centre they are forbiddent to discuss their cases ,or the possibilty of coming home ;No abuse by fosterers or social workers can be reported and the only language that can be used is English even if children and/or parents cannot speak it well.
i know that I repeat these outrages pretty frequently but such phrases as “abolish slavery”, “votes for women” and”legalise homosexual acts between consenting adults” had to be repeated endlessly until they achieved their objectives. I suggest “abolish forced adoption” and “no punishment without crime ” are of equal importance and should also be repeated until the law is changed.
