inThese are the latest child welfare items that should be right on your radar:
“The proposals, which form part of a cooperation agreement between the Labour administration and the Plaid Cymru group in the Welsh Senedd, would restrict registration of service providers to those operating a non-profit model.”
Sounds great except that so many of these non profit organisations rake in millions of £s organising state care for children who have been snatched from their parents . Of course those those involved enjoy huge salaries and extra generous expense accounts while getting public applause for their charitable work !
Barnardos for example rakes in many millions of £s every year and is foremost in campaigning for more and more adoptions……………

“Cutting those totals and ensuring more children can remain with their families is a key aim for the Welsh Government.”
I dont think they can ever get rid of profiteering from children forcibly taken into care. The Inter-agency adoption fees Councils get paid for placing a child into adoption starts are £32’000 rising to £80’000 for 5 siblings.
they claim these costs are incurred during admin while dealing with other agencies to place a child. i dont buy it.
i wonder if the Govt ever audit the spending of this money after its been paid to the council. i very much doubt it and leaves the door wide open to serious organised crime. Could this be the smoking gun to all the corruption via the SS and family courts. If not then what is their motivation if its not for backhanders.
