Welcome to another week.
These are the latest child welfare items that should be right on your radar:
- Judge overturns his own child return order after new evidence of father’s threats emerge
- Dorset Council Exposed Woman To Risk Of Abuse From Father
- Grooming scandal town Rotherham to become the UK’s first ever Children’s Capital of Culture
Many thanks to Tummum for sharing the first two items with Researching Reform.

Rotherham has been selected as “the children’s capital of culture ” and social workers would say “quite right too” ! 1400 children in the care of the State were groomed and abused while social workers successfully prevented any parents from intervening to spoil that total from being reached.
No other town came close to these numbers and I am sure that social workers and Cafcass celebrated the award of such a prestigious title thanks in part to to their crowning efforts …….
The care system has long been “the paedo’s paradise” and the source of riches for foster and adoption agencies
1.8 million pounds awards from taxpayers money was the icing on the cake ! No wonder they support our wonderful “children in care” system.
The more children in care = the more children abused and the richer they get ………..
