The public ‘do not hear about the hundreds of thousands of cases where children and parents are empowered and supported [by social workers] to create a better life.’ because they don’t exist. Unless they are talking about adoptive families who are indeed created by social workers. Real ones are destroyed.

Now a damning report from the Joint Committee on Human Rights says responsibility for the damage caused to the women and the children they lost, lies with the government – and it is time for a formal apology.”
What about the damage caused to all the parents who have lost children after the 70s, do they not count to the Joint Committee on Human Rights ?
