Political props, in the debate over adoption rights.
I 100% agree with adoptees. 60/50/40 years ago
, MOTHERS were denied any rights, and their babies taken for adoption. I remember asking if I could get a live in job at Barnardo’s home, as a jack of all trades cleaner, just to keep my baby, I was almost laughed at, for not wanting a MUM and DAD for my baby. The rightful place for every child born into this world, is with THEIR mum, if for reason separation is needed then KINSHIP care, with access to mum and dad, there lies all natural identity and ancestry and care. We are grown up nations, it’s time we put family first, and PAID help and support for families under pressure. I was part of such a scheme, the families in crisis I supported, ARE STILL family today. It can be done, quality wrap around care.
