Historic 😡 Is he having a laugh! Are they all robots with no mind of their own with an ounce of common sense. The narrative so needs changing on that. It’s how the public are been fooled and misled but I’m not blind to this fact!
I’m from England and found out my son had no adoption certificate on record just before he reached 18 so I must have retained parental responsibility, which is nothing short of bloody kidnap to me and fraud!
Even worse, I got sent a copy of a fake one AFTER finding this out. Took it back to Court who did NOTHING. Criminals!

Wow to the Irish Adoptee Campaigners… Totally right of course about authentic records (they do not have them) and the need for far more serious remedy … Like ( I would suggest) easing Revocation of Adoption for Adoptees so they can walk away from the lifetime colonial mentality that Adoption is merged within .Confusing child care with property ownership of a child.
Luckily the DNA Democracy is on it’s way now insofar as people can and do link to relatives that way .. It’s not perfect for sure but then nothing is …
However the right to have one’s own tattered original identity is primal and authentic and one’s story too if you can get it – even if it’s minimal – is a partial place to rest one’s hurt soul ..
The more I learn about Adoption the more I see is it conflates child care with “dis-entitlement” to one’s bio-story and original family despite “Open Adoptions” …. Lots of Adoptees feel mentally chained like slaves to the “permanency of effect” conferred upon them by priestly courts marrying them to Adopters and slaving them mentally for a lifetime .. Slaving ? Too strong you think ? Then try revoking Adoption as an adult in the UK and restoring your simple birth-title .. Only slaves do not have the right to name their own souls back to their origins properly ..

Michael Gove MP as the “I” says casts a long (crow-like) shadow over education policy .. And I would add over Adoption and Looked After Children policies …
As an Adoptee himself I am sure he over-projects his own elitist successful life and believes it’s a wonderful policy-life . After all, “Look at me ” … .But, what’s notable about “Gove-effects” Is people are “goved-upon” by him .. Contraryness does not matter … Control it and whack it …. Adoption currently is a mess to look at with high numbers of disturbed Adoptees not in education or training or employment compared to their non-adopted peers (AUK’s “Barometer” Studies) … Many have mental ill health effects.
Parents (usually lower income groups) are mistreated to “Forced Adoptions” more .. Gove himself knows about his Scottish birth mother but has never wanted to meet her. Freedom is given to privateers to run unregulated homes for profit for looked after children who are barely looked after but are used by pedo-gangs and County Lines networks for sex and drugs …
Centralisation mixed up with uncomfortable privatisation and is the answer to Govery … Gove it … Control it like all the stupid rules over-projected by schools about uniforms and style of shoes and colours of jumpers etc .. Fascism on kids is typical of certain class types who see kids as performative vehicles ..Govery is everwhere..Fine that parent now for taking Mary on holiday .. !!! Whack !! ..

as you say he was adopted himself but the most troubling thing is that he decided not to seek out his birth parents claiming he didnt want to upset his adoptive parents. pathetic excuse of a man.
