As the government’s current review of children’s social care continues to face challenges from child welfare and social work professionals about its work and its outlook, the voices and views of children and parents have gone completely unnoticed.
Our question this week then, is very simply: what do you, parents of social care experienced children, think of the review so far?

I find these government inquiries a total waste of time and money. They are for the benefit of the so called professionals, those with a vested interest in the financial returns of the system.
The interest of the families and their children is just an excuse to make it appear they are doing something.
I have to, in these instances, to go back years and quote,.
“The state must declare the child to be the most precious treasure of the people. As long as the government is perceived as working for the benefit of the children, the people will happily endure almost any curtailment of liberty and almost any deprivation.”
Written not by any UK politician, but it contains the essence of the Family Court system as we have at present. All these inquiries are dased on similar criteria to that statement. I make no apology for using it against the system, that is how much I believe that corruption is endemic within the system. (It is an extract from Mein Kampf written by Hitler.)

Reviews are very often flawed and not thorough enough.
no matter what they dig up the deniers will continue to deny any wrongdoing and nothing is ever done about it.

The Good Social Worker.
I checked the list for my area, only to find the name of probability one of the worst social workers I have ever come across. I will withhold the name at present as there is a very high possibility of serious criminal charges being brought against this particular SW.

Yes i would also like to know what happens here as i dont believe ive ever heard of a social worker being prosecuted. it has happened in the US but its long overdue to happen in the UK.
All we need is the first case to succeed and it will be a floodgate moment for thousands of parents all over the country.
