This is exactly what authorities did with my daughter and children, they knew of his abusive past being violent with her yet allowed him to move in with my daughter who has learning difficulties, they were involved with her in the past.
None of this was mentioned in court,we as grandparents were gagged believing we were going to get our grandchildren back but no,they got a placement order for adoption.
Later on I found proof that “MARAT”were involved,it was reported as soon as my daughter got back with this ex,and they were believing her that he,s changed,he wouldn’t harm her nor the kids, they were happy and closed the case.
Well 7 months later,I reported him possibly being violent again to my daughter because I noticed bruises, police went out to check, they came to me saying my daughter is denying everything, that she is happy with him and he would never touch the kids etc..
They came out to me saying there is no cause of concern,I was upset with them, showed them pics of her bruising etc..also i message of him possibly hurting the kids,it was then they went out arrested him and took my grandchildren into care,7 month too late.
That’s when children services got involved yet again.
They put the blame on me failing to report him from the day my daughter got back with him.
I had no proof to show court till now,i have the report proving they knew of him getting back in a relationship with the violent ex.
Childrens services failed not only my daughter in the past, but also now,she has lost all her children because of social services failure to protect my grandchildren, and now we as a family have to live with it.
They have been known in 2016 for leaving children in neglectful, violent etc situation for too long before they do anything by ofsted report.
