When a British mother loses her child to adoption, she decides to try to access her son’s birth certificate, after being told by a friend that adoptions are not always properly registered.

Shelby*, who now campaigns to change the law on adoption registrations, explains the story behind her case, how the adoption process affected her son, and why she would like to see a mandatory duty in law which ensures all birth parents receive a copy of their child’s adoption certificate.

The best change in the law would be to make adoptions against opposition from parent(s) illegal.The millionaires profiting from all these forced adoptions would not like that and unfortunately have enough influence at present to prevent any sort of reform.

It really would be interesting and of public interest if we could learn of more similar cases like this one. There cannot possibly be correct data held in relation to statistics how many more there are after listening to the podcast Xxxx

The law needs to b changed I got my grandson took off me in dec 2018 he is awaiting adoption and he does not need to b in care as he had a loving family but social services said I was not capable of looking after him which is ridiculous I was accused of poor parenting and neglect I was too fat my house was not good enough I never took him to nursery did not take him out places just petty little things now I live every day like I was mourning a dead child
