Oh dear yes smacking is definitely wrong but the consequences of this law can be dire. Some poor hardworking mother will lose her temper and give her daughte a smack on the butt with her hand or an exasperated father will give his son a clip round the ear with the result that both children will be taken into care and maybe sexually abused by predatory strangers .for many years to come.
It is not the law I object to it is the new opportunity it gives to unscrupulous social workers to seie yet more innocent children to feed the greedy fostering and adoption agencies and increase their millions of £s profits;!
