The child welfare stories that should be right on your radar:
- “The care system failed to look after me well enough”
- Oxfordshire social care costs ‘rising due to parent failings’
- Archbishop of Westminster put church’s reputation before children, says abuse inquiry
Thank you to Dana for alerting us to the first item.
“Conservative Lawrie Stratford told a meeting that Oxfordshire County Council was increasingly helping out parents who were “not doing their job”.
The authority’s children’s social care budget has increased from £46m in 2011 to £86m in the latest financial year.”
Well of course they will blame the parents to cover up the real reason why these cost are spiraling out of control.
they are not about to say – its the cost of placing large numbers of none Adoptable children into foster care simply in order to place their baby brothers and sisters for Adoption.
Physics dictates that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Councils are notorious for telling lies and covering up the truth. in all of nature humans are No1 in the art of deception. the sooner central Govt wake up and take action the better.

Competing fostering and adoption agencies are making millions (some of which trickles down in plain browm envelopes to council minions and social workers by way of commissions for the referrals !)
Mr STRAFFORD speaks of lower numbers and lower costs when he was a lad;
I am an old fella and when I was a lad there were NO social workers,no family courts,no Cafcass officers ,and no forced adoptions !
Police and criminal courts dealt with child cruelty and there was no punishment without crime !
Happier days for families …………!
