A Twitter survey carried out by this site found that 86% of those polled wanted to see the government launch an inquiry into adoption practices, including forced adoption, in England and Wales.
A total of 187 people took part in the poll which ran on Twitter last week.
The debate over the government’s current adoption policies came to a head this month after the Ministry of Justice announced on 21st May that it would investigate the way family courts process cases involving allegations of domestic abuse.
Calls to launch an inquiry into forced and illegal adoptions in Ireland were made by several MPs on 15th May. The MPs also want to see a separate inquiry into adoption practices inside the country.
Concerns about adoption in England and Wales stem from the implementation of forced, or non consensual adoption. A growing number of social workers, researchers and politicians are now saying that the policy is harming children’s wellbeing and development and re-traumatising parents.

It’s good to hear that government is repairing for an enquiry on forced adoption and domestic violence being dealt in court. But this needs happening ASAP.

Of course it affects birth parents. We mourn our living children. We feel guilty, ashamed, failures that are constantly judged. Even long after the care proceedings end. Our children are gone. Our other children, their siblings, are forever going to be in pain. Traumatised by the horrendous private family law proceedings. Where children have been removed instead of actual help offered. In my family we are now facing 4th GENERATION removal. Total discrimination. My mum was in care. I was in care. So my children should be. Now their children are at risks on the same grounds.
Local authorites accept they failed to protect the parents and the children yet tell the court they acknowledge the failure and the court accept this. The same court that grant the removal local authorities request because “parents have failed to protect” on the basis that parents do not accept they have failed even when they acknowledge it.
When will it end? When will the cycle be broken?

forced adoption should be categorised as a crime and all those concerned who continue the practice after it has been made to be illegal (social workers,judges,guardians and hangerson) should be sent to prison .Adoptions are a wonderful thing if voluntary and open (we know who the new parents are) but horiible and criminal if forced and closed(secret new parents)

86% is a strong vote but im surprised it wasnt 96%.
The Govt have been ignoring the will of the people and the complaints of the people with sheer complacency for many years and still are as shown with the Brexit fiasco.
The highly educated arrogant elite can no longer be allowed to rule this Country with such low regard for its people and ignore those who have suffered at the hands of public service staff. the SS and Family court judges need to be held accountable for their actions past and present no excuses and illegal Adoptions must be overturned allowing those stolen children to be returned to their birth families.
As we have seen with the Rise of the Brexit Party in just 6 weeks who smashed the Conservatives and Labor in the voting poles nothing is impossible.
As President Roosevelt said after the Pearl Harbor attack in WW2.
“Do not tell me, it cant be done!”
This can and must also apply to Forced Adoptions.

Dr manahattan….how can we change it? What can the 1000s of parents do? Do we have to bring down parliament? I was always lead to believe guy faulkes was a traitor… my eyes have been opened and it was all lies….it’s the other way round and we must make a stand b4 they dissolve al familys! I need to help..

Change can only come from putting pressure on the establishment to act.
this come s in a number of ways as we know. Emails to ministers, Facebook groups, street protests and campaign groups.
but as we seen with the Hillsborough disaster it took 27 yrs of pressure and campaigning against cover ups to get to the truth.
its an extremely difficult task to get the Govt to take notice. the Guy Fawkes approach is bold and courageous but will only end in people going to Jail for a very long time and that pretty much defeats the object of having your Children back in your life.
if we are being honest here, apart from campaigning etc the only other way to get a result in super fast time would be if Aliens decided to help the Human race and put some of their incredible powers into the hands of one Chosen person to carry out the task of righting the wrongs in this world by taking the power away from all Govts. in such a scenario you would see the Corrupt Adoption industry and the SS smashed within just days and a brand new initiative put in place. if such a thing could be a reality i would be standing right at the front of the cue to get Justice for every innocent family who have been destroyed by the SS.
other than such a Miracle the campaign route could be a very long haul indeed.

9 years since 2010!!!There has been no consoling us since that date at the loss and forced adoption of my 2 grandchildren.
My name is [edited]. After my daughter suffered domestic abuse from her ex-partner and had a breakdown, the full-siblings were placed with me, maternal grandmother under a section 20 agreement.
I am a [edited] in the NHS. Help was offered for me to find a way to organise working while I had the children. Three weeks later it was turned into a section 31. All contact stopped on the word of a social worker. Unbeknown to me “twin tracking” was going ahead. My Grandchildren did not see me from March until September.
I put myself forward for SGO to be primary carer for the children. I was refused SGO. Judge ruled that both children should be adopted together.
MY DAUGHTER WOULD NOT GIVE HER CONSENT TO ANY ADOPTION
Adopted out. Boy 6-Girl 4 years old.
The ADOPTION FAILED, so they were returned to [edited] 5 weeks later. Family not informed. I contacted the local authority as the children had been seen in [edited]. Surely this could not be right! Sure it was. Mother was then informed that her children were back in foster care with the same foster family.
This was early August, by October the foster carer announced at a LAC review that she was going for a SGO for my grand daughter. She didn’t want the boy – he had to go. But, she would keep him until after Christmas. By the spring he was moved. The children still went to the same school. Head teacher reported that the two young siblings would hug each other in the playground. Everyone was affected by the whole thing. The foster carer then moved my granddaughter to another school in the area and changed her name-all with the knowledge and approval of the social worker. It soon became evident that my grandson had been emotionally and physically abused by that foster family.
Less than a year later, the week before Christmas my granddaughter was removed from that placement. The foster carers had taken on more children. A report of abuse was made on another child, so all children had to be removed.
They wanted my granddaughter back so they applied to the court for SGO. Back to court-we all went foster carers, mum, dad and me.
I was dismissed. Foster carers had a finding of fact, which were found responsible for a child’s injuries. Judge ruled that my granddaughter was to be given another chance for an adoptive family.
MY DAUGHTER REFUSED TO GIVE PERMISSION FOR ADOPTION IF HER DAUGHTER. Judge said that she either gave her consent, or she would dismiss her and the adoption would go ahead. That is exactly what happened. By December 2016 my granddaughter was found a family in England and sent away for good from her brother. He was to stay in LA foster care.
Nobody cared about the feelings of my grandson and they still don’t now….
Arrangements agreed at court were ignored. Letter box contact between the children and counselling for my grandson took a long time to start. It was to lessen the emotional damage. Instead it increased. I have gone to every LAC review and strongly question “best interests for the child” decisions. It is what suits social services at the time.
I have not seen my granddaughter since 2012. My grandson is now 12.I am at present being assessed under kinship care rules. Since 2010 nothing has changed-still in the same house, same job, same me.
As a family we have undergone tremendous stress and heartbreak. I have contact with my grandson every 6 weeks we have a brilliant rapor. Each time I see my grandson, my heart breaks for my granddaughter who I cannot see. He always talks about his lovely sister.
In 2011 my grandchildren were taken. They have gone through a series of foster homes. Abused emotionally and physically, forced adoption, failed adoption, separated, forced adoption for girl. Full siblings torn apart. Grandson left behind, omitted from his sisters life. All this would not have happened had common sense prevailed.
In 2010 had my daughter been offered help and support by social services, maybe there would have been a different outcome. The children were already with me. They deemed me unable to care for the children as I worked full time. Nothing has changed, yet I am having another assessment.
Forced adoption, lack of support and social workers with no empathy or understanding has done this to this family. How many others has this happened to? The same team that handled my grand children’s case were the ones that cost poor baby Elsie Scully-Hicks her life. The grandmother was refused care of that little girl. That child was killed by her adoptive parents. Had she been left with the grandmother, she would still be alive.
The birth family went public and was subsequently “gagged” by the authorities.
FORCED ADOPTIONS ARE HAPPENING. They are cruel.
Lack of support is happening. Happening to our Welsh children by government workers. The government should take action to give children the Best. That is that the children stay with their families with support, not bonuses for adoption.
Loss of a child hurts the ones left behind. We miss her every day.
I am the grandmother and will hide nothing from you. I do not need anonymity.
I pray the truth will out and this trafficking will stop. I welcome this inquiry. It is a privilege to participate so that others will not suffer like my grandchildren, daughter and I have.

Another clear example of SS Child protection Corruption in this country.
Adoption is a very lucrative business that generates large sums of money for those involved and they have no morals what so ever re their ill gotten gains. Human rights and fair play mean nothing to these people. remember the two X social workers who started their own Fostering/Adoption agency and later sold it for £135 Million.
Anyone who claims Child protection and the Family courts are not driven by profit are simply Delusional.

Forced Adoption is Inhumane. PUNISHMENT WITHOUT CRIME
Social Services never make every attempt to exhaust all possibilities to keep mother and baby together, quite the opposite. They make every attempt to separate mother and baby and leave both traumatised. Humans right are breached and simply ignored in family courts. Positive parenting assessment are ignored, postive contact records are ingnored. No previous history of crime, drugs, mental illness, ignored. No history of harming or hurting a child, ignored. Fabricated evidence by social workers, ignored, perjury commited by social workers, ignored. Evidence to support a parent, kept out of site of judge.
I acknowledge in different situations, forced adoption is probably necessary however removing children from birth families forever over ‘potentials’ when no crime has been committed.

Having lost two grandchildren taken for forced adoption, the LA need to be asked what did the parents off the children taken do that was so bad that adoption was only option
