As 2018 draws to a close, we would like to ask you one very simple question: what has been your biggest child welfare concern this year?

Researching Reform 
it’s the lawlessness of the ss and family court lackeys, and the police being ordered to “back off or lose your jobs and pensions” when they uncover serious crimes such as forging kidnap orders that lead to forced adoptions. it’s the impunity of these criminals that’s the main problem. we’re always seeing headlines about how they’re breaking the law, and yet they’re never arrested charged or punished.

My biggest concern has always been the taking of children from parents for future risk ! When no crime has been committed there should be no punishment so children should only be taken if they have suffered very significant harm due to assault or negligence by their parents;
Please do not tell me that taking children is not a punishment ! Tell that to the next mother after you have snatched her baby at birth and sent it to forced adoption by strangers !

It’s the unquestionable power social workers have and the fact that they have no regard for families.
The complete lack of accountability and power over them to rectify mistakes made.

Where ALL the judicial players in a family court, in a single case: refuse to accept video, sound, photographic, translated and transcripted evidence of ongoing child abuse, blackmail, constant perjury, theft, repeated contempt of court, fraud, alienation, stalking, abuse of the mother; placing the abused children with their abuser whilst still on licence for a serious sex offfence, releasing the address of the safe house to the abuser, threatening the holder of the evidence and releasing their personal details to the abuser, accepting that evidence was perjured then refusing to have it removed from the bundle, the local authority promoted an officer for – threatening the mother that if she did not lie in court she would never see her children again ( recorded and played in court ), – sabotaging legal aid by impersonating CAFCASS and saying the case was over, refusing suitable accommodation to ensure the mother could never have her children, refusing to release documents , blatant lying with false accusations, – the list goes on, ad infinitum ad nauseam, and ALL the above has been documented, yet the children are still being abused.

For me, it’s realising ones can have the evidence, but it don’t mean they’ll get anywhere. There’s got to be something seriously wrong with the system when all that is covered up even when one(s) lie from the Council where Judge’s know about it.
Never in all my days did I think parents could be restricted years later after their Case ended, when evidence comes to light to substantiate there may well have never been an Adoption after all. Which brings me to my next point.
If 1000 children a year are being wrongly adopted (Or allegedly so) then why does the system continue to build their house upon the sand. Only the foolish man does that. We need the system to fairly address all the miscarriage of justice to build their house upon the rocks.
A dented cake tin, will only ever reproduce more dented cakes and a rotten apple will only continue to turn the rest rotten.
It’s the lack of transparency, the short meaningless apology letter, where if one(s) were really sorry said letter would be more in depth.
Most of all, for me it’s the realisation of believing now, with evidence that where adoptions are contested, where section 20’s are not signed then with 2 adoption years and no trace of a child on the entire England and Wales adoption register; then said related certificates can’t then be produced where there is no written record in the first place. I’d call that tampering with evidence.
Where there are two different adoption years, two different written records between a Council and Cafcass for when a Case ran then I’d call that tampering with evidence.
It does not automatically follow, that where there is a Care Order there is an adoption. Adoption decisions are not the same as Adoption Orders because a parent still maintains parental responsibility when a Judge decides Adoption right the way up until an Adoption Order is made.
But the biggest heartache of all, where there is no excuse, is all the children going missing and being trafficked like these children and their lives are meaningless.
Why isn’t more being done for these children when it’s known it’s going on.
Meanwhile, we are seeing the most corrupt make their way up to the very top and it’s only our voices which can stop it with transparency and clarity. I’m only glad we have platforms like Researching Forum dedicated with all their hard work continously – where we’re all offered a voice, because we do care and all these years later we want to see change only we don’t want said change to continue to be biased all the time xx

For me it would be how lies can be told about a mum who was seriously ill to make them look bad. I had cancer and other illnesses while pregnant with my second child. My son was 10 months old when i started to struggle with cleaning and not once wassupport offered to me. Other than to be told to clean in the evenings once my son was in bed. Then he was removed by the police. Yet the duty social worker knew I was having to get back on track slowly but still rang the police. I never wad told the reason why and I.was never arrested or questioned by the police. I was let down and my solicitor didn’t even fight for me properly in the end, he also lied and said i couldn’t get rid once i had legal aid and also my ex was told we couldn’t sled represent ourselves. Also we were told not to join any groups against adoption as it would be used agianst us. Yet i would of know better the way to fight forced adoption. I was accused of using my ill health as a excuse and thay it was mental health and a dysfunctional relationship. Yet i got rid of my ex before final hearings. Nothing I did was ever good enough. I had a psychological assessment and was 100% negative a d said i needed 12 months CBT and also had depressive traits. So I lost my babies I waited 12 years to have as was told my chances to conceive was low. Never once was my parenting questioned during contact sessions. So was deemed good enough. But thenone who did my parenting assessment said it was not enough time to know for sure. They are to be adopted. I tried to contest the adoption order but lost based on little to no changes. Yet inhave complete changed as a person and was proven to not need cbt but down have 111 sessions of person centred counselling which has done so much for me. I also did several courses on parenting and mental health through open learn, and a proper parenting class and self-esteem course but becuase they are not the ones the local authority send people on its classed as not doing them. I also know i am a good parent but the judge refused to listen and had ago at me for me saying I know the psychological assessment is no longer correct.
