The news items that should be right on your radar:
- Family Court Social workers given new guidelines for children who shun contact with a parent – despite the absence of agreed research in the area
- Ofsted criticises ‘opaque’ language that families don’t understand in child protection plans
- Damning Ofsted report was ‘generous’, says new Surrey children’s services director
Many thanks to Dana for the last news item.
When social workers tell judges that children do not want to see one or both parents it is usually untrue. If the parents ask for the children to come to court to speak for themselves the “SS” reply that it would be a traumatising experience for the children to attend court when in reality they are traumatised by being prevented from having their say.and being misrepresented in court by lawyers supposedly representing them !

parental Alienation is usually attributed to one of the parents as being the culprit. we never seem to hear about Social workers causing parental Alienation in favor of a Foster carer.when this happens you can bet the childs true wishes and feelings are kept secret and any attempt to get to the truth is aggressively blocked by the SS legal team using every dirty trick in their textbook on how to beat parents and win a court case.
