Yes children’s voices should be heard but I can’t see that pages of waffling jargon written by a judge would help that!
Legislation is needed to ensure the following :-
1;-Children should be brought to court to testify on matters that directly concern them if they or their parents wish it
2:-Children in care should have access to telephones and internet on any day they wish;and be 100% free to speak to their parents or the media if they wish to do so;
3:-Children in care should be free to report any abuse they say they have suffered in care to both police and parents.
4:-Children should be free to discuss anything they wish in any language they choose with parents during contact visits
Four simple changes in the law that realy would allow the voices of our children to be heard !
