There are important issues to be addressed, and these articles make interesting reading for all who are interested in our young people who will know so much more if we make the knowledge available to them. Education releases the spirit that ignorance holds captive. Let’s help our young people to fly – they won’t learn to do that if they are locked up and confined.
Ben Ashcroft says “Less than 1% of the population experience care at some point, but its estimated that half of children in custody are either in, or have experienced, local authority care, which is disgraceful.”
Well ,when you tell children in care they may not see or communicate with the parents they love or discuss the abuse they suffer in care with parents who do get contact it is not surprising that so many rebel against all forms of authority and become criminals………..
i agree, and we have Local authorities to blame for a great deal of it.
it would seem for many years meeting Adoption targets has been more important than the future mind set of the children they put into care when they didnt need to.
Corruption breeds Crime and now we are seeing the outcome of what Cash for kids does for Society.
