A new BBC 2 Documentary, the first part of which is airing tonight on BBC2, looks at a unique rehabilitation centre in England which helps mothers and fathers come off drugs. The centre’s approach is controversial – children stay with their parents throughout the process.
Researching Reform was very kindly given the opportunity to watch the film before it aired. We offer an exclusive preview on Huff Post as the first eyeballs to take a peek at it outside of the production team. You will be surprised.

I have always campaigned for “no punishment without crime”.Of course addicts using illegal drugs will usually have committed a crime by using them(especially when pregnant) and if convicted it does give some reason for the family courts to remove children.
I do not say all drug addicts should have their kids removed but depending on circumstances case by case some kids must certainly be removed for their own safety but not all and not automatically.

its a certainty that the SS will remove children from drug addicted parents especially when you look at how many parents with a clean background have still had their children removed and never got them back.
Adoption is the No1 Root of the problem. ive said it time and time again, Abolish Forced Adoption and the corrupt racket will fall off a cliff.

adding to this,
many childrens services found to have failed by Ofsted are being taken over by a new trust known as “Together for children”. Everything looks wonderful on the surface in news articles and photos etc but thats where it ends.
if parents are getting their hopes up that things will change so much they may even get their kids back then think again.
in our City TFC have been in control for 3.5 months and nothing has changed. same old social workers telling lies are still in their jobs.
not good.
