Home Secretary Amber Rudd would like to set up specialist training for police officers dealing with child sexual abuse. Under the current proposal, police officers would be trained and accredited in the same way officers carrying firearms are. Once officers passed the training, they would then be awarded a license.
The idea comes after a damning report into the Metropolitan Police revealed that mistakes were made in 75% of cases involving child abuse.
It is not clear what kind of training the police might receive or how long the training will last.
Our question then, is this: do you think specialist training for police working on child abuse cases is a good idea?

absolutely !!! those who have suffered CSA are NOT pieces of labelled evidence they have broken Iives. The impact of abuse and better understanding of the crime is ESSENTIALTIME AND TIME again we are told at EAUK police say no evidence to proceed. A case is not and cannot be just about forensics. Children under 7 years of age are UNABLE to invent any graphic disclosure their brains ae not developed enough so they have wither SEEN it or EXPERIENCED it There remains so much CRITICAL LACK of knowledge around this topic

Yes lack of knowledge on this matter is huge.
So too is cognitive dissonance- people just do not want to believe other adaults can rape and abuse children, torture them and smile as if nothing had happened.

CHILDREN ARE TO BE SEEN AND NOT HEARD
Now this saying has been for untold years so what is new, as for another police specialist force to be set up its just all talk and more jobs for the boys, should children’s voices be heard it will never happen as it will be WHERE IS YOUR EVIDENCE OR YOU ARE OUT OF TIME, plus to many child abusers in the top shops take a look at Lord Janner another cover up Lady Macar TELLING 700 odd abused victims from Wales no case, it all goes on and on because also money talks, not one kid in this corrupt Britain has one chance in hell to have their voices heard, go back to the work houses my god did kids suffer go back to the Dungeons 100s of years before prisons were built little kids put in the dungeons with criminals Barnardos sold the kids only for most to be abused with many other big charities for children supposidly to help them I could go on and on of kids abused but only to be told to sod off, kids will never have a voice look at all of the kids bullied in schools nothing done check out detention centres there is no ending for the abuse of kids in this rotten country. Amber Rudd is most likely under orders to say and do so the plebs can be shut up.

Lady Macur is well versed in child sexual abuse and pedophile rings and how they operate.
I still cannot believe this is the same “Lady” Macur who once fought and won cases where pedophiles were involved.
Then again none of those pedophiles were jailed or prosecuted- because it was family law……makes me think deeper now.

child sexual abuse should NEVER be in the family court because ITS A CRIMINAL OFFENCE and if this happens it can never be put in a criminal court AFTER a finding of sexual abuse cause it would prejudicial and thrown out so family courts are ‘aiding and abetting offenders’ it is all FRAUD that’s why it is secret and no orders or findings/transcripts are stamped or signed making them invalid its outragious.

One would have thought this training was already in place.?
I have witnesed the difference between trained police and untrained – pertaining to child sexual abuse and it stopped me in my tracks.
While we are speaking of trained personnel in child sexual abuse- most social workers are not trained either.
Because child sexual abuse is a crime – the training must go to police who have the power to prosecute.

No training whatever needed ! Just a willingness to LISTEN to children who complain of abuse in Foster families or abuse by social workers,guardians,care workers or anyone else employed by central or local government.At present they are ignored time and again.
As Maggie Tuttle says above LISTEN TO THE CHILDREN and investigate their complaints before and not after the abuser is dead !

Here is the link to Brian Gerrish`s interview with a police whistleblower. This is a man who tried to do the right thing for children being sexually groomed and abused while they were in the care system. He was warned off, and has been harassed ever since. Will police training help? No. Not until the government faces the corruption and cover-up in the higher echelons of society.

Above all, children need to feel safe; that their trust will not be betrayed. It is of paramount importance that those entrusted with this responsibility are trained thoroughly and not fast-tracked in any way. They will need to be mobile – rather like therapists and peripatetic teachers, but specialists in their field of expertise.
Mere tea and sympathy have no place in this scenario. Children who have been abused may well grow into stunted adults. Nurturing the young appears to come easily to most animal species – except the human variety and too many young parents find helping hands in their communities few and far between. It is the price we pay for scattered families.
I believe that, as with any good doctor/patient scenario, to understand the pain and make a diagnosis, the child/patient has to be listened to – and heard – before a worthwhile decision can be reached and treatment prescribed. Contrary to many misconceptions of modern-day bureaucracy, children and people are not boxes to be ticked.
