These are the news items from around the world we feel should be right on the radar:
- No increase in child abuse detection since Children Act despite 300% referral rise (UK)
- Children separated from siblings in foster care feel ‘powerless, anxious’, CREATE foundation study finds (Australia)
- Bill making consensual sexual acts between teenagers older than 12 not a crime as long as the age gap between the two sex partners is less than two years. (Africa)

Referrals have reached highest level on record. 570,800 children were referred to social services in 2013-2014. This data was only collected from 2010. Prior to this referrals were falling slowly for 3 years.
The number of children entering the care system have risen by 80% since 2002!
This shows the system escalating. The more money that’s thrown into the system the more children are referred and dragged into care and those working it become richer.
The fact is child abuse has not been detected despite the 300% rise in referrals!
It’s remarkable that its taken so long to see the system doesn’t work but then again it’s not surprising, they are useless at detection!

“They are useless at detection”.
They are not trained properly in detection. If you study their curriculum its mostly about social policy.
Police are trained in child abuse because child abuse is a crime. Social workers are not criminally trained. I have observed them over 20 years and nothing has improved.
Real abusers- manipulators – actually groom social workers, guardians, solicitors, judges etc. Its fascinating to observe but also very worrying because real abusers walk free or get to have care of the abused children.
Yes, its a money making business with children as commodities – but children have been commodities for 5000 years now.
