We find it hard to believe we’ve bent your ears for almost 1,000 posts, but as the landmark draws near, we would love to do something really special.
We’ve added some ideas for your below, but we would love to hear your thoughts, and if you have better suggestions, we’d love to hear them, too.
For our 1,000th post, we could:
- Invite you all to write down one thing about your child or children you know that makes them special (to you)
- Try to complete a family law related challenge you have for us!
- Ask us any question and we will do our best to answer them all for the duration of the day. We will put all questions inside the post with our answers below; you can ask us about anything, related to family law, the work we do or even our thoughts on things
Got any better ideas! Spring ’em on us……
14 posts to go and counting……
Love you Dad. Love you Grandpa a heartfull

What a SUPERB invitation, Natasha! CONGRATULATIONS on 1000 posts – as I’m just rejoicing in 300,000 visits to http://www.victims-unite.net.
Since I consider the abuse of family law the most heinous of all white collar crimes, I’m wondering whether this list of requests from Brussels is appropriate /realistic to ask for:
The UK Delegation is making the following requests on behalf of all parents and children who have become victim of the UK child ‘protection’ system:
1. To do everything in the Petitions Committee’s power
a. to ensure that future adoptions without Parental Consent will not be allowed in the UK;
b. to make past adoptions reversible – if possible, based on the decision of the adopted child;
c. to enforce the Rule of international Law, as expressed in
i. the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child;
ii. the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations;
iii. the EU Articles of Human Rights.
2. To make recommendations for the creation of an international Ombudsman-type tribunal that
a. ensures children are being heard – whether in screaming or in talking age;
b. reviews ‘care’ proceedings that are currently in process;
c. invites parents to submit documents relating to past ‘care’ proceedings for re-assessment.
3. To return children to their birth parents as soon as possible
a. especially when they were taken as babies and shortly after birth;
b. especially when their parents are foreigners;
c. and especially when their parents are imprisoned.
OUR ONLINE PETITIONS and EVIDENCE
· Abolish Adoptions without Parental Consent > 2,800 signatures
· Stop Forced Adoptions in the UK > 1,300 signatures
· Stop Secret Family Courts encouraging Forced Adoptions in the UK! > 170 signatures
· The Secrecy in Family Courts should be lifted now! > 30,500 views & > 1,700 signatures
· The associated Dossier of online Evidence comprises 12 pages: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1NCF_XdMTNhnf947eniZ3SocOWyJ5CI6pramw4iOPY9c/edit?usp=sharing
· Research into Freedom of Information requests [1] by the Advocacy Fund resulted in
Ø 177 councils
Ø taking children from 115 countries during the last five years
Ø putting 6,645 non-UK children into ‘care’
Ø and adopting 122.
The Association of McKenzie Friends will gladly assist the Petitions Committee which will hopefully organise an investigation into the institutions of the UK.
John Hemming MP consistently blames the Government and management for policy such as ‘adoption targets’ which were doubled during New Labour. Similarly, the Police have even ‘crime targets’.
Is this too much to ask for???
With heart-felt CONGRATULATIONS on your 1000th post,
Sabine
