As government goes into Busy Bee overdrive, more statistics are revealed, which show the sharp rise in adoptions for 2012, and the very positive spin that’s being put on the thing. We’ll make not comment on that for now, but the stats are interesting and very much worth a read. The Fostering Network too has lots of great comment on how the government is doing in relation to children in foster care and care leavers, too:
- Latest Stats on Children in Care, Adoptions and More, from the Department of Education (why can’t we have a Department for Child Welfare – we’d like that. Maybe one day, if we become civil servants…)
- 51,000 children living with foster families in England – and rising…
- Government fails care leavers re Housing – just 330 young people in England were still living with their foster carers by the age of 19.
The Government should hang their heads in shame! To have this level of children in care and rising and the impact on society in the future is nothing to be proud of. These statistics show 69, 000 odd kids have been failed by the government. They are clearly not doing their job to help improve matters for families and keeping children within their own families should be top of the agenda not forced adoption and fostering. The system has been failing for decades, making “professionals rich”, but failing the children and families.
By taking all these children into care has not prevented serious injury or deaths of the few evil parents or their partners and no one will ever be able to stop those with that kind of intent, known to SS or not.
The blame game by SS needs to stop and SS needs to change and keep kids with their families. Their funding should be dependant on how many families they have assisted not destroyed! In the USA family preservation workers are better trained than social workers and are proving that family is best but are better trained to spot where serious problems that cannot be sorted out. The family preservation programmes are proving very successful and more children are kept with their families. The government should take heed! With more people finding out the truth of what is going on they need to grasp the nettle and make really radical changes that are family oriented!

R&R and Dana. I would like to tell ALL the people who have posted their comments on here. I have tried to particularly not comment on my own case and have tried to generalise my comments. BUT. I have written to Prime Ministers past and present, Home Secretaries past and present. Ministers for Children Schools and Families past and present. The Attorney General, the Shadow Attorney General. At least 150 MPs. I have INFORMED EACH of them of the many cases of CORRUPTION(including my own). ONLY about FIVE of them replied. I would love to name all the HYPOCRITE MPs and the High Court Judges to who I have written that they because of my INFORMATION have KNOWLEDGE of CRIMINALITY and yet STAYED SILENT. SO for these many years of trying to get REDRESS and trying to get ANYBODY either from the GOVERNMENT or from that Corrupt section of Social Services in Walsall. OR from Wolverhampton Records Office who STATE that the Court Files are MISSING. WHAT have I ACHIEVED. WHAT has ANYBODY else ACHIEVED so as to be HEARD by OUR GOVERNMENT. For years, I have been to Protests, Conferences. Can ANYONE on here tell me the NET RESULT of ALL OUR Postings.
As far as I am now concerned I am a TOTAL FAILURE in that I TRIED and FAILED to ROUSE ONE PERSON in POWER to even CONDESCEND to even CONTEMPLATE that the CURRENT SYSTEM of the ADMINISTRATION of Social Services and CAFCASS is FLAWED. THE ENTIRE SYSTEM OF SOCIAL SERVICES and ALL its ADHERENTS is a MONEY MAKING AGENCY. BTW. ANYONE of the CREATURES spoken of above MAY CHALLENGE me.

WELL WELL here we go again with facts and figures, it is time for the world to wake up to the DEAR OLD BRITISH EMPIRE NOW KNOWN AS THE MUMMIES AND DADDIES BRITISH EMPIRE. I have said before Mr Hitler lost the war but won the war for the new mummy and daddy BRITISH Empire with the passing of Mr Hitler his famoue words live on “In a child’s best interest” Hitler with his SS murdered millons of children but the mummy and daddy BRITISH Empire who have created millions of jobs to rule the families and now known as the SS who get well paid, with thousands of SS from the EU working for the British Empire with millions more soon to be arriving from the EU to take up more SS jobs, so here is the controle of the EU with the SS who are paid to break up families and within a year we will see kids in foster care over the 100.000 and adoptions doubled, now figures show that we have thousands of kids with mental problems also committing suicide, 49% from the care system in prison thousands locked away in young peoples detention centres thousands in psychiatric units, and all that thousands of the kids wanted was their families and I know that from filming and interviewing the thousand of kids from care left to live on cardboard boxes on the streets. So yes THE BRITISH EMPIRE for all to know has taken over from Mr Hitler and the SS “In a child’s best interest” to become the MUMMY AND DADDY BRITISH EMPIRE, who say to all families do as we say shut your mouths or go to prison just because families tried to protect their children they so love, as for grandparents rights this will never in a million years be, because the MUMMY AND DADDY EMPIRE does not have to murder millions of kids and people like Mr Hitler they just rule the masses with breaking up the families useing the kids in care for drug abuse and as of late reported to my helpline parents now told that their children have been diognosed with HDHD and will remain in adult care for the rest of their lives, and yes on drugs and used as guinia pigs with organs sold.
So ALL get use to the facts that parents families and grandparents have no say what so ever, it is “THE MUMMY AND DADDY BRITISH EMPIRE” who is in charge

It makes me soo sick when children become ‘statistics’!!!… I just put some statistics I got from Ian Josephs on this article I wrote: What Would I do if ‘Social’ Services took my children? http://punishmentwithoutcrime.wordpress.com/2013/10/01/what-would-i-do-if-my-children-were-taken-away-by-social-services/
For me, the statistics show 2 important things:
1) the number of children adopted is very small compared to the 75% who are with foster parents for £400/week
2) children can live with their parents while they are in ‘care’ of the Local Authority.
The ways in which SS are intruding in people’s lives, is utterly disgraceful. And I sincerely hope that more and more blood will boil and boil and boil until something is gonna give!!! After all, MPs want to be re-elected. But how can they expect us to vote for them, if they don’t support us in our child snatching dramas???

The answer is don’t vote them in! Whatever your politics I am impressed with UKIPs family policies. They believe children are best brought up by their families. They are the only party that have recognised forced adoption and mention it by name in their manifesto. They also note the present government policies that prevent families from having contact with a child in care. That will give them my vote!

I don’t know what other orders a Judge can give after care proceedings but I know they only give 2, freeing orders for adoption if under 5 and long term foster care if older. That other orders can be given but judges don’t give them tell me the judge doesn’t make a judgement but goes along with the social workers care plans! Truly a case of the tail wagging the dog! Shame on the Judges who are clearly not looking out for the best interests for the child. It is in the best interests of the child to live with their own family and if the judge does not know that he/she should not be a judge!

The potential for fraud and abuse is high. Orphanages tend to be filled by kids whose parents want better opportunities for them, while the root problem — extreme poverty — goes unaddressed, a Unicef worker in Ethiopia told me. Worse, some families in places with different cultural norms and legal systems relinquish their kids believing that it is a temporary guardianship arrangement, rather than an irrevocable severance of family ties.
In 2006, the family of three sisters adopted from Sodo, Ethiopia, said they were told that adoption would give the children a chance at an American education and that they would later return. The adoptive parents, then living in New Mexico, said they’d been falsely assured by an evangelical agency, Christian World Adoption, that they were saving destitute children orphaned by AIDS, who might otherwise have become sex workers.
When the children arrived and were told the adoption was permanent, they were distraught. And when the adoptive family complained, the agency maintained that the adoption was justified under Ethiopian law and counseled the parents to trust in God’s plan. When the adoptive family complained to the Better Business Bureau in North Carolina, where the agency was based, it threatened to report the family to child protective services in New Mexico. (The agency has since gone bankrupt.)
Though most are not as nightmarish, adoption complications are common. Some adoptive parents have even hired private investigators to try to verify the stories they were told about their kids.
When scandals emerge, governments lumber into action. But then the demand just shifts to another country, and the problems start all over again. In the early 1990s, Romania saw an adoption boom after shocking images of orphanages — housing young victims of Nicolae Ceausescu’s compulsory birth policies — became public. But over time, stories of other Romanian kids’ being coerced into adoption or bought from their families surfaced. Romania halted international adoptions in 2001.
Also in the 1990s, the number of adoptions from Vietnam soared, but the outrageous fees paid to child finders — sometimes more than $10,000 — caused the government in 2003 to press pause to reform the system. (But when the adoptions resumed in 2005, so did the problems.)
At the height of Guatemala’s adoption boom in the middle of the last decade, nearly 1 percent of babies were sent to the United States, before stories of child buying and even kidnapping prompted a shutdown in 2008. Then the boom shifted to Ethiopia and, now, Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Of course, adoption problems aren’t limited to Christian agencies, and they don’t originate with them, but some movement insiders say that evangelicals — whether driven by zeal or naïveté — have had a disproportionate impact on the international adoption system. Groups like Unicef and Save the Children have made clear that millions of “orphans” are, in fact, not eligible for transnational adoption, but advocates often disregard these warnings as signs of ideological opposition to adoption — a charge Unicef has denied.
After some high-profile adoption horror stories, the number of transnational adoptions to the United States fell to fewer than 9,000 last year, from a high of nearly 23,000 in 2004. Last year, only China and Ethiopia sent more than 1,000 adoptees to America, and only South Korea and Russia topped 500. (Russia this year banned adoptions by American parents.)
Adoption can be wonderful when it’s about finding the right family for a child who is truly in need, but it can also be tragic and unjust if it involves deception, removes children from their home countries when other options are available, or is used as a substitute for addressing the underlying problems of poverty and inequality. We can no longer be blind to the collateral damage that good intentions bring.
WHEN IS THIS LEGALISED CHILD TRAFFICKING THAT GOES UNDER THE NAME OF FORCED ADOPTION GOING TO STOP!

This woman would have had countless assessments and checks by many different professionals over the years to adopt all these children, absolutly worthless! No one knows what happens to the child after adoption!
It is the tradition of the UK, recognised in law, that children are best brought up within natural families. Lord Templeman, in In re KD (A Minor: Ward) (Termination of Access) [1988] 1 AC 806, 812, said this:
‘The best person to bring up a child is the natural parent. It matters not whether the parent is wise or foolish, rich or poor, educated or illiterate, provided the child’s moral and physical health are not in danger. Public authorities cannot improve on nature.’
… It follows inexorably from that, that society must be willing to tolerate very diverse standards of parenting, including the eccentric, the barely adequate and the inconsistent. It follows too that children will inevitably have both very different experiences of parenting and very unequal consequences flowing from it. It means that some children will experience disadvantage and harm, while others flourish in atmospheres of loving security and emotional stability. These are the consequences of our fallible humanity and it is not the provenance of the state to spare children all the consequences of defective parenting. In any event, it simply could not be done.
That is not, however, to say that the state has no role, as the 1989 Act fully demonstrates. Nevertheless, the 1989 Act, wide ranging though the court’s and social services’ powers may be, is to be operated in the context of the policy I have sought to describe. Its essence, in Part III of the 1989 Act, is the concept of working in partnership with families who have children in need.
That looks good on paper http://www.bailii.org/uk/cases/UKSC/2013/33.html but the reality is very different. The UK does not practice what it preaches!
