It is one of our all time favourite enterprises; spotted a couple of years ago by us, we have not looked back since we discovered Child Quest, and we remain strong advocates of what they do; and their work goes from strength to strength.
Their website tells us that, ” Child Quest International is a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection and recovery of missing, abused and exploited children everywhere, and at-risk adults in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our services are offered free to all victims and their families.” You can see that the work they do is vital and goes to the heart of child welfare, especially when you click on the Missing Children page, which seems like a never-ending stream of lost little people, and adults, too.
So it’s our enormous privilege to be able to contribute in some way, and having been invited to come on board as a contributing author, writing articles on child-welfare related matters for their website, we are delighted to be able to take part in raising awareness around the issue of missing children.
If you haven’t seen it already, their page on keeping children safe is an excellent read, and if you feel inclined, you can also donate to the organisation, so they can keep doing their incredible work for free.
You can check out our first article for Child Quest here, which is a more in-depth look at the new proposals for micro-chipping kids’ passports.
