Dear Research and Reform. I have listened and read all your comments. NEVER STOP posting to me PLEASE. Is it POSSIBLE with the rise in applications for the acquisition of children by Social Services and CAFCASS to obtain the COST of their CURRENT efforts and then their Subsequent COSTS to the State by all those concerned by the afore mentioned bodies ?. It would be interesting to take any INDIVIDUAL case and COST it from start to finish. NAMING all those in the process and how much EACH one gets from the State in CASH or its equivalent. I would also include the CURRENT cost of a child in care PER WEEK.

I think there are already some cases that get costed and yes, I think it would be a very interesting exercise to break them down in that way more often!

As usual an afterthought. Is it not in the interests of EVERYONE involved within Social Services and CAFCASS and the Judiciary to ensure their LIVELIHOOD by involving themselves in the process of child adoption?..
ANYONE. Please contradict me. I am open to discussion.

I think it depends on the types of people involved, but often conflicts of interest spur people on to do the ‘wrong’ thing.
