The Express has now written about Dr Hibbert and tells us something new – apparently Dr Hibbert had tried to persuade MPs to roll out his methodology for reviewing families in care proceedings, so he could take his approach nationwide. The article does not tell us the outcome of this presentation although clearly it was never adopted (bad pun intended). We would like to know why as that may shed yet more light on the ever growing concerns.
To make things worse, it is alleged that his wife, who is a solicitor, prepared the documentation with him to present to MPs, which “boasted the merits of their methods”. Quite how his wife was included as an originator of Dr Hibbert’s practice is cause for concern in and of itself.
The article is an interesting evolution of what is already a very concerning case.
