Welcome to another week of Family Law, and on this occasion, our question is a simple one. No links, no fuss.

Evidence is a very tricky area of family law. Whilst it is needed to discover the truth about many things, like the mindset of parents and the realities on the ground of alleged events taking place, more often than not, we simply don’t find enough of it to be truly sure that what we see is what is true.

Our question this week then, is this: in relation to the family courts, how good are they at finding actual evidence and what could be done to improve things, if you feel the system could do with a spruce up in this area?
